beard’s premium birdseed brand + marketing

Everyone has a story. Ours just happens to be about birdseed.

Our historic mill has been a staple of Julian, NC and surrounding communities since 1895. My grandfather began working at the mill in 30s before buying it 10 years later. And then for the next 50+ years, my granddad turned his friends and neighbors into faithful customers, with my dad Jimmy working right alongside him. And when my granddad passed (may he rest), my dad took over with my brother Neil and me. That's how the family got into slingin' seed.

We've milled, bagged, and sold everything from livestock feed and grain to grass-seed, and then of course, there's our truly one-of-a-kind birdseed, in my humble opinion.

I've studied and sourced, mixed and tested, and what we've landed on is the perfect blend of premium birdseed that has proven to be superior to all others on the market, if what our customers say is true.

We took our birdseed from local shops to retailers across the state to online which allows us to deliver our epic birdseed nationwide.

Our birdseed is bagged fresh daily and shipped directly from our headquarters at the Old Mill in Julian, NC to your front door.

I lead the charge, and personally touch every bag of seed, personally protect our blend and mix, and personally help our customers. If you call us, you'll talk to me.

And beyond our precision and quality, you'll quickly see our commitment to zero hassle and fees. I believe in free delivery, no matter where you are in the US. There's no hidden or additional taxes or fees. I want our customers to have just one affordable price they can rely on for our arguably unmatched bird seed.

Our name? When you see me, you'll know why folks call me "Beardo."
